Rethinking Psychosomatics. Shaping the Future.
We are looking for a committed and entrepreneurial personality as Medical Director, Psychosomatics (m/f/d) to establish a new medical focus area
Shape a new medical focus area in our private clinic!
Our private clinic stands for modern, holistic medicine with a focus on Longevity, Prevention, and Orthopedics. We combine high medical quality with individual care, innovative diagnostic concepts, and a sophisticated international patient environment.
As part of our strategic development, we are expanding the Psychosomatics department into an independent and integral component of our medical service portfolio.
Your Role:
You will assume medical and conceptual responsibility for establishing and developing our psychosomatic department. In doing so, you will actively shape structures, treatment concepts, and interdisciplinary interfaces, and together with the clinic management, develop a future-oriented psychosomatic service portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include, in particular:
• Establishment and professional development of the Psychosomatics department
• Development of a modern, evidence-based treatment concept
• Medical responsibility for psychosomatic diagnostics and therapy
• Building and leading a multi-professional team
• Close collaboration with the Orthopedics, Longevity, Prevention, and Rehabilitation departments
• Development of interdisciplinary treatment pathways, especially for chronic complaints and complex clinical pictures
• Participation in the strategic and economic development of the new specialty
• Representation of the department to referring physicians, cooperation partners, and patients
• Prospective expansion of services and development of further innovative care concepts
Our Treatment Focus:
The Psychosomatics and Mental Health department is embedded in an interdisciplinary, somatically oriented overall concept.
The focus is particularly on stress-associated and psychosomatic symptom complexes such as chronic stress, burnout symptoms without acute psychiatric illness, psychovegetative dysregulation, and psychosomatic complaints with muscular, gastrointestinal, or sleep-related symptoms.
Here, physical, psychological, and psychosocial factors are considered together and integrated into an individually tailored treatment concept.
Acute psychiatric illnesses, psychiatric emergencies, and unstable psychiatric conditions requiring specialized acute psychiatric treatment are not part of the intended inpatient treatment spectrum.
Do you want to actively shape a modern medical focus area in Psychosomatics, not just manage it?
Then we look forward to receiving your complete application!
We naturally assure you absolute discretion.
